It’s Saturday and time for another Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. Today’s inspiration piece is a beautiful blue room at the Thomas Benton Gray House Bed & Breakfast in New Salem, Illinois. Here is the picture.
And here is my card for the challenge.
I used my new Cuttlebug embossing folder for the white panel. The main image is colored with SU! markers and a blender pen. Both the panel and the main image are popped up on dimensionals.
Stamps: Heartspeak, Right at Home
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Watercolor
Ink: Jet Black Stazon and SU! markers in Rose Red, Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery, Garden Green, Tempting Turquoise, Yoyo Yello, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Gingham Ribbon, Lace, Rhinestone Brad, Cuttlebug, Blender Pen

The card today and the one from yesterday’s post are just lovely to say the least! I LOVE that swiss dot embossing that adds a touch of vintage to both cards. I love turquoise too so these two are outstanding to me! Great job, TFS!
What am I missing here?! You now design cards to go with bedrooms?!? What’s next? Cards that go with cards? Kidding…..I DO love the card – it is beautiful – love the lace and the dots – very, very cool…just one question, would one actually send a card designed for a bedroom to the bedroom itself? Or to the inhabitants thereof? I’m thinking that maybe my bedroom should have a card….something dark and mysterious…made with fire-proof paper of course…just in case things get hot!
This is gorgeous. The heart caught my eye in the photo too, but I haven’t made my card yet. I love the lace and the textured paper you used. I reminds me of a dress I had as a little girl.
