Okay I confess… I tried to do a postcard.  I really wanted to play along in Darlene’s challenge.  But the no layers and no embellishments rule got the best of me.  I just couldn’t do it!  lol  But at least I did end up with another Christmas card.

Edited:  There have been a few that have asked me how I did the glittered corner/border.  I should have included that in the original post… It was late and I forgot to mention that that is all part of the Imaginations designer paper.  Using a black Copic multiliner and a glitter pen I did add the straight line across the top and along the right side to make a box around the deer and sentiment.

Have a happy day, and don’t forget to check out all the goings on with Sharon’s celebration.

  12. Susan, another stunner of a card, it is gorgeous but not surprised as your cards always are beautiful. I always know where to come for some boost in my stamping. I have no mojo these past few weeks. I am over extended and have to just slow down. Your work is the best. Pat

  15. This is absolutely STUNNING, Susan! I’m glad you edited your post to let us know the secret to this amazing card — I’d likely have stared it at for an hour trying to figure it out! lol I think I’d have a hard time with the one layer and no embellies rule too, so I’m totally sympathetic here…and love what you turned out!

  16. Oh Susan … you are too funny!! You must practice restraint my dear!! Those layers & ribbon will wait, LOL!! Sorry you couldn’t do the postcard thing but that’s okay because this card is STUNNING!!! Thanks!!
