Yup it’s the 20th and time for another Splitcoaststamper’s Dirty Challenge. This month’s challenge is all about “feeling” the love… anything with texture. It must be a Valentine’s project or card, and NO RED is allowed!! Here is the card I made for it.
My textures include the scalloped embossing and the pink Fun Flock. The flocking is applied to both the darling Karen Lockhart “Peapod of Hearts” image and the little white prima. The sentiment is also a Karen Lockhart stamp. “Peapod of Hearts” is the Stamp of the Month over at Ellen Hutson’s, LLC. And at the CLASSroom I have a few hints about playing with Fun Flock. So, so cute! I love the colors and love that it’s not a traditional valentine card…so, are you THE guru of stamping or what?!? I’m always so amazed at what you do!!! Now…have you told everyone you’re going to have a birthday soon?!? Perhaps you should…and they can all send you a card because you are definitely “card worthy”…maybe I’ll even send you one too…but first I’ll have to run to a Hallmark store since I wouldn’t dare be brave enough to send you anything I’d made!!! Although if I did you would laugh and laughing is good…so maybe I will!

This is SO sweet, Susan! I’m a huge Karen Lockhart fan, and this is my favorite card I’ve seen with this image. Love the soft look, the embossed border, great choice in ribbon, and the touch of pink. VERY cute!! (Sorry I’ve been MIA…I’ve not been on the computer a whole lot since Thanksgiving.) Always love your work! tfs

When I saw this in the DD/DDA gallery, I just fell in love!!! That image is just the cutest and it looks fabulous with the flock!!! The sentiment couldn’t be any more perfect….such an AWESOME design, Susan!!! Gotta go to the classroom to check out the tutorial!!
