Really? Is it possible to have too much paper? I’m beginning to think, “YES!” And so I am on a quest with my paper. I’m not going to throw any of it out.. oh heavens no!! I plan instead to USE it! And so here are a couple of cards using some SU! designer papers.
Both cards have the same basic layout and enabled me to use four different patterns between the two.
A sweet young friend of mine is having her fourth baby this month. She currently has three darling (and they really are just the cutest!) boys. She has found out that this one is a girl! Her DMIL threw a baby shower for her yesterday. This is the card I made for her.
Of course I had to add some sparkle to the buggy with a Stardust Glitter Pen.
One of those newish big grommets from SU! was added to the bow.
The second card uses one of my new stamps from Lost Coast Designs.
I loved this Degas-look image called “Two Ballerinas”. Having been a ballerina (in a past and much skinnier life) I couldn’t resist it.
I thought it would be fun to stamp, cutout and pop up a second tutu for the front dancer. Oh yes and of course some glitter was needed! hehe
Quests can be so much fun, especially if they involve paper. Besides it is getting increasingly difficult to justify buying more when I don’t use what I already have!

These vintage cards are just LOVELY! The baby coach really caught my eye with that buttery ribbon and brad and then the ballerina card just floored me! I used to take ballet lessons as a child so I’m partial to anything in that area. Both are so beautiful! I too have resolved to actually USE some of these beautiful papers I’ve been hoarding…….and I’ve used all but one sheet of my beloved Soft Sky already. (sniff sniff) Hopefully the release of the new SU! catty won’t catapult me back into hoarding again LOL
Both cards look lovely and the papers are really pretty. Both stamps are quite unique and framed beautifully with your layout. I am inspired to pull out some of the papers which rarely see daylight!

Susan, these are beautiful. Love that ballerina card. I never new you had been one yourself. I bet you were just as great at being a ballerina as you are a paper crafter.

I am so there with you on buying paper and then not using it up, hoarder that I am, LOL!! I decided not to stock up on the SU DP before the new In Colors are gone because I still PLENTY and will want to buy more with the NEW colors, right?
Susan these are terrific. I love the ballerina card. The tutu is perfect cut out that way. The ribbon and bow are beautiful on the first one. I too hoard my paper. I have been using mine up since January..New Years Resolution but I have a long way to go… Great job… TFS

And to answer your question … NO YOU CAN’T HAVE TOO MUCH PAPER! Well, at least I think I can’t!! This is a great idea and what lovely creations you have come up with! I really must follow your lead and do the same!! Where do you start?? Use up scraps first or just dive right into that luscious new pack I just purchased! Thanks for inspiration!!!
