Here are a couple of wedding cards that I made recently.  And as I often do, I used a portion of the wedding invitation as designer paper on the first one.

On the second card, I took my cue from the colors in the invitation and casual lifestyle of the bride and groom.  Fun wedding… jeans were not only acceptable attire, they were encouraged!

The small fleurette was colored with Copic markers.

Both of these cards were made a couple of weeks ago.  I haven’t been stamping this week because I have been wonderfully busy!  My twin granddaughters are visiting and today we had a spa experience called “Sips and Sparkles”.  As a mother of 4 boys, this grandma has been waiting her whole life for just such a day!!

  2. OMGoodness what a fun time for you and the girls! They are adorable and I’m sure they loved those fluffy robes and the fancy drinks and pedicures. How adorable they are and how fun for Granny to watch. Love your flowers and cards but I always do. Pat

  3. Beautiful cards! I loved your post. As a mom to four boys myself I look forward to hopefully having some granddaughters one day. Your post made me smile and gave me hope! Have a wonderful day.

  7. How absolutely adorable and wonderful (and I’m not talking about your cards . . . LOL . . . even though they are fabulous!). I’m pea green with envy Susan! These lovely ladies have captured my heart . . . how twice blessed you are to have these precious angels . . . have fun and enjoy them (spoil them too) while they’re with you. As you know, they’ll grow up faster than you can blink! Hugs, Jerri

  8. How FAB! Love the wedding card, and such a great idea of using the invite itself. Then, those lovely little girls. How Cute! I only raised boys and no grandchildren in sight for a long while…. so I miss that stuff too.

  9. Beautiful cards! What a fun way to spend with your granddaughters.

  10. You always manage to cause me to drool a bit –right now it’s over that first wedding card. It’s so elegant, rich, and just plain gorgeous! The other one’s pretty (what a fun couple they must be!), but this one just speaks to me. Volumes.

Those pics of your little granddaughters are just precious! You sure spoiled them…now they’re gonna expect that same royal treatment every time they come to visit (not that you’d mind -lol). Looks like the only thing missing there was Grandma having her pedicure and hair done too. 😉
