smileychristmaslightsani.gifOh my goodness..

The Christmas Season is upon us!  I have been busy getting all the fun activities accomplished including putting up the outdoor Christmas lights all by myself!!  Who knew I could reach so high on tippy toe while standing on the top step of the ladder!  Not bad for an old lady!  LOL!!

However, I haven’t been stamping much but did get to create this card using a sweet set from Hero Arts.  There are lots more details about this project over in the CLASSroom.  It is sort of a funny/confusing story.  But the bottom line is that Ellen Hutson will now be carrying Hero Arts Clear Stamps!

AND… be sure to visit the CLASSroom tomorrow (Saturday, December 19th) as well!  Starting at 10am (PST) Ellen is having a scavenger hunt.  Now if I know Ellen, there will be some surprises along the way!

Happy Crafting!

  1. Love the sentiment and your wonderful design. Is that one of the new 2×2’s I see?

  2. First… You are far from an old lady. 🙂 Why are you hanging up lights by yourself… You have a few men around there to help you girlie… Inlist their help or don’t bake for them till they do. lol Off to the classroom to check out the deets….

  3. Well, one thing I know, you are NOT an old woman. Second, your story about staning on tippy toes on top of the ladder scares me. I see you with a broken leg as bad as your SIL’s and that hurts me thinking about it. *shivers* Third, your card is just fantastic as usual Susan. I’m thinking I just might have to take a break from last minute running around getting presents ready to go take a look in the Classroom.

  4. You are not an old lady at all, Susan. You are a very brave lady who did all decorating by herself! 🙂
I love your card!!! Great idea with the acetate! Like how you stacked the flowers too! and what a cute detail of the rainbow spotlight! Just wonderful!

  6. Your card is just stunning!! I love how you colored the rainbow inchie and created those flowers! I also loved the raindrops falling down the side of the main image………and then there’s that buttery ribbon! Oh my this is beautiful!!
Congrats on doing all the decorating yourself, but I don’t need to tell you how dangerous it is to stand on the top step of a ladder! I’m glad you got it done without incident! whew! 🙂

  7. What a delightful project, Susan!! I love it:)
    Happy holidays!

  8. 🙂 Well I love your smiley! That rocks! this is the first year we haven’t had lights in the window (my job, lol), this must be our craziest December on record. I haven’t stamped much either. Got the Christmas cards out and all but quit. 🙁

    MERRY CHRISTMAS to you!
