When her mom contacted me to see if I wanted to participate in a fun blog hop for Christi, my answer was a resounding, “Yes!”

So HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Christi!!  May you have many many many more.

The jar of 50 primas was made from a baby food jar.  The lid was painted with acrylic paint and a gingham ribbon was attached.  The sentiment and circular floral border are from JustRite’s “Big Occasions Centers & Borders” set.  It is attached with dimensionals.

Your next hop along the way, Christi, is over on Jeanette Fincher’s blog.

Have fun, Birthday Girl!smileybdaycandleani.gif

  13. Susan, what a fun surprise to have you be a part of my surprise birthday ‘party’!! Thank you for letting my mom bully you into it –just kidding– I have no idea what she said to you guys to make this happen, but she’s no bully. 😉

Your card is so fresh and fun (and there’s not even a hint that it’s for an old person! -lol) –I love that set (I’ve been moving that one in and out of my shopping cart since it first came out…me thinks it’s moving back in to stay!) and I have no doubt that it’ll be even lovelier in person (and I’ll be drooling over this beauty just as soon as I get through visiting with the rest of my sweetest blog friends)! There are sooo many wonderful details (dimension, glitter, bling, faux stitching, faux frame, etc.) and you even stamped on the envelope to match. It’s all so pretty!!

And how clever to repurpose a baby food jar! It’s completely adorable, and the 50 primas are going to be so fun to get to play with!
