It’s time for another Dirty Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  This month the required element, as this post’s title would suggest, is to use a bird or a bee image.  I chose this cute little owl from the Hero Arts “Birds and Branches” set.

Recently I’ve been having some fun making my own embossing templates/elements.  On this card, the smallest circle from the Standard Large Circle Nestabilities was used.  I die cut several of them using Ellen Hutson’s “Craft-a-Board”, placed them on the cardstock with the embossing mat and ran them through my embossing machine.

After lightly sponging to accent the embossing, I stamped one of the flowers from the “Birds and Branches” set onto the embossed cirlces.  The end result adds some fun dimension to the card.

Hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful Spring.

Happy Crafting!
