Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge this week was to, “…make a card inspired by your home state, province, town or country. It could be where you were born, where you grew up and still call “home”, or where you live now.”  So here is my “Home Sweet Seattle”!  I’ve had this stamp of the Space Needle and Seattle skyline with Mt. Rainier for some time now.  It was fun to finally use it!

I made the grid background design using some drywall tape.

After placing the tape on cardstock, I sponged it with a couple of different colors.

I thought the finished look was sorta cool.

  4. What… No Hanford reactor image… So dissappointed. LOL :0) This makes for a much prettier card! The background is cool I agree. We have wind and cold this week, not good for the sinus. Hope its a little nicer on the west side! Have a great weekend!

  5. Oh yes, the space needle. Never been up it but have been by it a few times! Great mountains in the background as per the Cascades you can see in Seattle when we drive down to visit friends who live there. Love how you used the drywall tape! Wonderful card 😀
