Hmmm… When it comes to submitting cards to a certain paper crafting magazine for possible publication, it is becoming obvious that someone is clueless as to what it is that that paper crafting magazine is looking for!
Anyway on a completely unrelated story *wink*wink*, I thought I would share a couple of random cards today. No particular reason why except that they just happen to be laying around… you know… with no particular purpose. Okay, okay. Yeah a couple more rejects! LOL!!
The lace on the house is hand crocheted antique lace that Sharon Johnson‘s grandmother made. Sharon (notimetostamp) sent me a box of such treasures a couple of years ago. She is so amazing!
On this second card, the tag is separate and removable from the vellum pocket.

These are awesome!!…..LOVE how the lace looks next to the row of Christmas bling on the first one, and how adorable the second one is with the gingham accents.

I understand how rejection feels, but I’m grateful that you share your creations here on your blog, so I don’t have to go buy a silly magazine to see them! Your attention to detail is always over-the-top, and a lot of the cards I see in magazines can’t hold a candle to yours, so don’t let that throw you! We are going to be in bremerton this weekend for a shooting match for DH. I was going to try and squeeze in sometime to maybe visit but looks like we won’t have anytime. :0( I am getting closer to a visit though. hee hee Had nice cool weather here this week, well cool compared to normal TC July weather. Susan, both cards are fabulous! I agree with Denise, it’s their loss! I submitted once, several Christmas designs, I didn’t even get the rejection letter, nada, nil, nothing! I haven’t been brave enough to submit again . . . LOL! As long as the hubby and Mom like them, I’m okay, they’re my biggest fans anyway . . . LOL! I absolutely love the lace from Sharon, it’s so beautiful!

I have the same feeling about “Clueless” publishers. I think they don’t understand that they are loosing real treasure. But I am glad you share your wonderful and talented cards with us! 🙂
