Miyuki Sakai “uses her sewing machine like a paintbrush and creates amazing art”.  And this week on Splitcoaststampers her “Sewing Illustration of Miyuki Sakai” is the site used for the Inspiration Challenge #257.  What a beautiful art form!

Here is her creation that I chose to use as my inspiration piece.

And here is the card inspired by her creation.

Lots of faux stitching was inspired as well as the stitched grosgrain ribbon.  Flowers and stitching were added to the inside of the card, and an envelope was stamped with a few flowers and stitching as well.

Be sure to stop by Splitcoaststampers and check out the challenges.  Thanks for dropping by my blog today.  Hope you have a creative weekend.
