Miyuki Sakai “uses her sewing machine like a paintbrush and creates amazing art”. And this week on Splitcoaststampers her “Sewing Illustration of Miyuki Sakai” is the site used for the Inspiration Challenge #257. What a beautiful art form!

And here is the card inspired by her creation.
Lots of faux stitching was inspired as well as the stitched grosgrain ribbon. Flowers and stitching were added to the inside of the card, and an envelope was stamped with a few flowers and stitching as well.

Wow that lady does Amazing work and I just love the card you came up with, so pretty, the pearls on only part and the stitching on only the corner of the envelope is so neat, I like on the card how the sentiment balances it out, very cool!

Love this card; it is beautiful. Too bad the person for whom it is made will never see it. However, I am sure many of the loved one will appreciate it and the card will be a reminder of many good memories.
Oh I really love the stitched look on the envelope. Clever. It’s like a treat that the mailman gets to enjoy as well. =)
