Although I didn’t “need” anything, a couple of days ago I found myself standing in the aisles of my local craft store. I hadn’t planned a visit, but needed to shop at a nearby store. Well, its pretty much impossible to just walk past it… I am quite literally drawn in!
And what did I find but this GORGEOUS piece of designer paper!! Love the non-traditional colors! I came right home and made 8 Christmas cards with it.
The snowflakes and sentiments are placed at different levels on each card to best show off the wonderful sparkle of that particular piece of dp. The punched border is a Martha Stewart Edger Punch. Not sure that this one is still available but if you haven’t visited Ellen Hutson’s store recently, she is offering almost ALL of her Martha Stewart Punches at 50% off while they last!!!
I was tempted to put rhinestones at the center of the snowflakes but added Stickles instead. This helped keep the cards flatter for mailing.

I wish I could make multiples as quickly as you can! I need to learn to simplify my process! I LOVE the gorgeous dp you used and how easily you adjusted the layout to accomodate the design in the dp! Gorgeous as always!

This card is stunning and that paper is gorgeous!!! I have gone a bit snowflake nuts this year which is kind of funny since we live in FL! No chance of actually seeing the real thing.
Very pretty change from the traditional colors, of course you just have to love that sparkle, that is so great you came right home and used your find 🙂
Thanks to for the info on that stamp, I am always curious about the name of the stamps I find at the flea market, they hardly ever sell them in packs and the ones that have been in a pack don’t have the names on them.

Yes, I know the lure of the craft store! It’s too bad our one and only stamp/craft store in town has closed, boo hoo. I’m limited now to JoAnn Fabrics and whatever tiny craft section is available in a local store. Your paper was a great find and sure made for some gorgeous cards!
