Made this card for yesterday’s Clean & Simple Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. It was a color challenge using blue and white. (Some people think of aqua/teal as a green. I’ve always thought of it as a blue.)
As I was going to upload the card, I noticed the challenge said, “DARK blue.” Oops. One can get away with claiming aqua to be blue… but “dark” blue? Nope. However, I enjoyed this CAS sketch so much that I decided to use it for some needed Christmas cards. I loved that 3 different coordinating designer papers were used on each card.
I have punched enough of the scalloped squares to make a dozen Christmas cards. Quick.. easy.. fun.. what could be more perfect? (Well I guess I could have read the challenge details a little more closely. There is that. LOL)

Great cards! I totally agree on the aqua, looks blue to me, but no not dark blue. I’m definately pinning this card. I’ve been trying to get some of my Christmas cards done too and this one looks quick and easy. Love them!

Well, maybe not the challenge specifics but you won in our book! These cards are so fun! A great use of small scraps and just the right touch with the buttons. Love the piercing too. Just a great refreshing card that we can use for any occasion from Birthday to Christmas. Who doesn’t need such ideas like these. I know I am adding it to my file! Thanks for the inspiration!
