This week’s challenge over at the CAS-ual Fridays Blog is to use markers. Here is the card that I made.
Copic markers were used to color in these Memory Box “Trendy Trees”.
Copic markers were also used to color the designer paper. This created a perfect match with the colors used on the trees.
What a fun challenge this was! I love my Copics.
Stamps: Memory Box “Trendy Trees Combo”; Hero Arts “Birthday Messages”
Papers: PTI Select White and Dark Chocolate; Carta Bella “Traditions” Designer Paper
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copics:
Accessories: Memory Box “Trendy Trees” Die; Darice “Plaid” Embossing Folder; Linen Rope
What a great idea to color DSP to match the coloring of the trees. Boy, am I ever going to give this a try as I have a limited supply of Copics and am always having trouble matching the colors of my papers. Love this sweet card, Susan. Everything about this CAS card is fabulous.
How clever to color your designer paper for a perfect match.
Another clever touch is the way you did your bow. I REALLY love this!
