Each month Splitcoaststampers hosts a Christmas Card Challenge in the Fan Club Forum.  I decided to play along for the month of March.  Hopefully this will get me going again with some creations for this year’s cards.

It is so nice to have a collection of Christmas cards all ready to go once the holiday season arrives.

Card 1:

Stickles was added to all of the flowers’ centers for some sparkle.

Card 2:

Here’s some faux stitching just for fun.

Card 3:

A little bit of the image was cut out to give that out-of-the-box look.

If you are a member of the Fan Club over at Splitcoaststampers, come join the fun and get those Christmas cards started!

Happy Crafting!

Love your colors and the Poinsettia motive – I still keep my real on alive from Christmas time! I do not have the heart to throw it away, although they never really make it to the next Christmas through…

  8. These are gorgeous – I need this stamp!

  9. They are so beautiful! I love how you stamped the background and cut out some details of the flowers! It is always nice to start earlier on Christmas cards. 🙂

  10. Love the artsy/watercolor feel to this image, such pretty color, and like how you did the out of the box with the image, neat details. You would think one of these years I would do some Christmas cards ahead of time, will see if that ever happens 😉

  11. Those are some very pretty variations on the same basic sketch! I really like how the stems are slightly out of the box!

  12. All three are really wonderful. What a great idea to play around like that and get three different looks.

  13. Beautiful cards. Every year I say I will start my cards right away and do them through out the year. Again I’m saying that, who knows if I will get them all done early. I did pretty well last year and had most of them done early, so who knows, maybe this year they will all be done early. These are just lovely, I love the similarity and the differences! TFS.

  14. I just love the PB Poinsettia stamp and what beautiful colors!!! The out of the box cutting looks fantastic, too, and the distressing gives the cards a real vintage look!! All three are gorgeous, Susan!!!!

  15. Truly elegant Christmas cards, Susan! A beautiful poinsettia image, and I love how you added the SU! backgrounds. I’m watching my Christmas card pile grow and I’ll be so happy as the season draws near.

  16. These are absolutely gorgeous, Susan!! I love the colors, images, and your touch of sparkle! I SO need to follow your lead on getting ahead.
