This first card was made for two different challenges this week.  Dynamic Duos is the first challenge.  I didn’t have anything with the color “Pear Pazzazz”, so a couple of Copics were blended to (hopefully) get close to it.  Also, PTI’s “New Leaf” cardstock was used with the hope that it, too, is a close enough match to “Garden Green”.  The second challenge is the CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge.

Challenge 1: Dynamic Duos #63 — Challenge 2: CAS(E) this sketch! #38

I have had this paper pad called “Camp-a-Lot” for some time now so was excited to use it on this week’s CAS-ology Week #55 – Camp Challenge.  A large sentiment used with a couple of different paper patterns made this a quick and simple card to make… just the ticket for a great guy card.

  11. I still have that old Garden Green, but no Pear Pizazz. Trying to use up the old papers, but it’s happening very slowly. I love the simplicity and the sweet image on your first card. The Camp-A-Lot paper is one of those pads I fell in love with and had to have, but there it sits. It’s on my “never been used” list and it’s going to get used real soon. It’s great for a masculine card or anyone who likes the outdoors look. Love how you used it with the string and that great sentiment. Wonderful guy card! Thanks for inspiring, Susan!

  12. love your take on the cue word… thanks so much for playing along with CASology!

  13. I love your idea for the sketch in the first one, great idea using a stamp for the different heights and the second makes for a neat guy card

  16. Great cards, Susan! The first one is a great take on the sketch. And the second is a perfect use for the patterned paper. Don’t you just love using up supplies! No matter how hard, I still wind up buying more thank I can use!
