Today’s card is for the Color Throwdown Challenge #273.  I’m determined to work on Christmas cards all year this time around.  It makes such a difference come November!  And, these colors were perfect to show off some new metal snowflake stickers.

The turquoise rhinestone matches the background designer paper better in real life.  Sometimes the lighting plays with us!  lol

I don’t have anything that is officially “smoky slate.”  However, the ribbon shows several shades of gray.  Hopefully one of them is close to it.

There’s still a little time left to play along in this wintery color schemed challenge.  Speaking of winter… hope all those who are in the brutal cold regions this weekend can curl up and craft away the day!

  14. Great card, Susan! You found the perfect elements for the challenge! I especially love the ribbon and snowflake! We had snow on Friday and 3 degree lows on Saturday. It’s 55 this morning but dropping all day until we get into the teens overnight. The weather is certainly crazy in New York!
