I can hardly believe that my grandson is a year old! Here is his card for the big day.
The monkey is a cupcake topper that was saved from a baby shower I attended a couple of month’s ago. A small cut was made in the cardstock, and the little stem was inserted and taped down on the underside to hold it in place.
CAS on Sunday is having a fun “Sparkle and Shimmer” challenge to use glitter. This card is playing along in the challenge, as this ever so dazzling designer paper has lots of sparkle already built-in.
There are a couple of other challenges, too, that Little Monkey is playing in. They are the Papertake Weekly Challenge “Anything Goes” and the Simon Says Monday Challenge “Five”. The “five” things I chose to create this card are: Paper, Stamp Set, Ink, Monkey Topper and Rope Twine.

Love the sparkling circus glitz of the paper, and so right for the cheeky monkey. Brillant idea to save the cupcake topper. Your little precious is going to see all that color, the monkey smiles and just be tickled to pieces. He’s a cutie too!
