It’s almost Father’s Day!  Here are a couple of designs that are for three of the special men in my life.

The front card is for my father-in-law.  It will be delivered in person this Sunday.

The Spellbinder’s Labels Two Die was used to emboss around the tractor.  Then, leaving the die in place as a mask, a light blue ink was sponged around the outside.

The card will be playing along in Splitcoaststamper’s Thursday Challenge WT483 to use twine or rope.

The other two cards are for my sons.

It’s been crazy times here at home so crafting has had to be put on the back shelf.  But I was finally able to use some “new” stamps, a punch and embossing folder that had yet seen any action.  YEAH!!

Both card designs are entering the:
“Father’s Day” challenge at The Male Room and
“For the Boys” challenge at Papertake Weekly Challenge.

Hope everyone else gets some crafty time, too!

  1. Beautiful work, Susan. Great trio of Father’s Day cards. Love the crisp black and white designs for your sons. And the card for your father-in-law is a beauty. Gorgeous coloring and details.

  2. Oh I like all of these Father’s Day cards. They’re giving me a few ideas using some retired sets I have for a couple I need to make still. Thanks.

  3. Great coloring of the tractor, and like the strips and background behind it, gives the feel of a field behind. The pennants under the labels on the other two is a cool touch!

  4. Great cards, how sweet of you to make cards for your Son’s.

  5. Very nice!! I like the layout of the tractor card. My son made a farm-y card for my FIL too. 🙂
