Sometimes the crafting is put on hold, and that’s what happened this summer.  Besides moving (again), I learned to surf!!  What FUN (the surfing.. not the moving)!!

Now I’m getting back to crafting and starting on some Christmas card designs.  Here’s one that is playing along in today’s color challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.

The ornament image is from the new Stampin’ Up Holiday Mini Catalog.  I’ve colored it with Copics.

This card is also playing along in a new challenge on Tracy’s blog called the Monday Mood Board.  Just love the colors and the black and white and gray leafy images in the Monday Mood Board Challenge #2.

This second card uses a new (to me) stencil from Simon Says Stamp.

Gotta have a little glitter here and there!

So glad that I’m finally getting going on some Christmas cards.  Have a long way to go, but at least it’s a start.

  5. WB Susan, you’ve been missed, but have clearly taken time for yourself in learning to surf, and hi-fives for that! I don’t envy you moving so soon after your earlier move, but life happens 🙂 Your cards are a beautiful kick-off for the Christmas card season – NJ!

  6. Gosh, you’ve been busy, and learning to surf! I am impressed, bet it was scary at first, and then lots of fun. That should be some fantastic exercise too. Don’t envy you the moving part of the summer, however. Love both of these cards. That ornament is so pretty, and I’m over the moon with card #2. I love the pine cone design. Both of these cards are just beautiful, and now you have 2 more for your Christmas stash. Glad you are having time to get back to crafting. Hugs & TFS
