Played around with some cool textures today.


The stamp was covered with Gesso and then stamped onto cardstock.  After this had dried (and the stamp was washed!), the stamp was inked up and stamped on top of the Gesso.


Love the resulting chunkiness.


Entered some challenges:

Papertake Weekly Challenge: “Bingo”
  Bingo = Ribbon, Die Cut and Button
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: “A Piece of Paradise”  Sunny skies and a few fluffy happy clouds = Paradise!

  2. Well, isn’t this cute! The image in gesso is an interesting and very cool effect. Would never have thought of that. Love the curve and the trim at the top. Cute paper!

  4. Love this very cool technique. At first I thought you had stamped on white and fussy cut your bike. This gives neat texture and is a whole lot simpler. Thanks Susan. I also like the wavy sky, happy clouds and your fun button sunshine!
