Played around with some cool textures today.
The stamp was covered with Gesso and then stamped onto cardstock. After this had dried (and the stamp was washed!), the stamp was inked up and stamped on top of the Gesso.
Love the resulting chunkiness.
Entered some challenges:

Well, isn’t this cute! The image in gesso is an interesting and very cool effect. Would never have thought of that. Love the curve and the trim at the top. Cute paper!
Love the effect it gave. Thanks for sharing this with us. Very cute card!
Love this very cool technique. At first I thought you had stamped on white and fussy cut your bike. This gives neat texture and is a whole lot simpler. Thanks Susan. I also like the wavy sky, happy clouds and your fun button sunshine!
What a fun card, Susan! Great technique and I love how the button and bow stand in for the sun!
very cool, love the effect of stamping over the gesso, love your design and the lace border!
This has so many fabulous details! Very nice card with a great design! Thanks so much for playing along with us over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
