Isn’t this a great sentiment!  It’s the perfect prescription for any golf lover.

After coloring the image I was adding a few gray tones to those stylin’ shorts and a big blob of gray ink dripped out of my Copic onto the picture.  This is the second time I have had this happen after refilling one of my markers.  Obviously I’m putting in too much ink!  Hopefully next time I’ll get it right.  lol  Well a trusty little button brad came to the rescue and covered up most of it.

The card is entered into a few fun challenges:

CAS-ology Week 139 Challenge: “Style”

Simon Says Stamp Challenge: “Anything Goes”

Addicted to CAS Challenge #59: “Green”

Happy Crafting!

Stamps: Clear Art Stamps “Golf Time”

Papers: PTI Select White, True Black and Limeade Ice

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copics:

Accessories: Baker’s Twine; Button Brad

  2. Great card and very creative way to cover the “ink blob” I have an alcohol maker that leaks like that no matter what I do. Great job! TFS.

  3. Oh, Susan, this is absolutely fabulous! I love the golf shorts and the perfect sentiment! As for the “ink blob,” been there!!! But you sure had the perfect fix…and we would never have known had you not told us. I love it! Hugs!

  4. Fun card, and I love the image and sentiment! Oddly enough, I refilled all my Copics on Sunday and stamped 8 little House Mouse images to make a card for their challenge and 3 of my Copics leaked onto 3 different images as I colored them, so I tossed them and decided to skip the challenge! LOL Some day I may learn not to fill them too full!
