Have a couple of flowery cards today. This first one uses SU’s Birthday Blossoms.
After punching out the main flower I curled the petals slightly before adhering it to the main image panel.
There were a few challenges in mind while making this card. Check them out!
Papertake Weekly Challenge: Take Your Pick – Product Theme: Pearls
Addicted to Stamps Challenge #151: Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Going Dotty!
Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes – Optional Red, White and Blue!
This second card uses a stamp set with some matching dies.
The mason jar was stamped on the card base and colored. A jar was then die cut using acetate which was adhered over the stamped and colored jar. The tape can be hidden under the twine and sentiment so that it doesn’t show through the acetate.
Just a couple of challenges here:

What a flowery and fun birthday card! I love the vivid colors of all of the blooms, and the stems look so serene in the mason jar! NJ!
Susan, these are both beautiful cards! I love the first one with these amazing flowers and your beautiful coloring! Great layout, and I always love polka dots!! And the second one is sweet…I just love Mason jars! I saw that SCS challenge today and hoped to join in…maybe tomorrow. Thanks for sharing these beautiful cards! Hugs!
Love them both, especially your CAS design using the mason jar. Beautiful work, Susan!
Cute flowers and what fun, pretty cards! Fabulous fresh colors on the first card and all that clean white that I love so much on the second. I’m not so good at mostly white cards, but I sure do love them!
2 brilliant cards but I’m loving your crisp, clean and feminine twist on our Less is More challenge. Thanks so much for playing along. Your stamping and layout are awesome. Sarah x
Both of these cards are so pretty!! The top card is so happy and cheerful! Love the combo of colors and papers. The second one is darling in the CAS style! I love that image and this is my fave! 🙂
Beautiful coloring on your first card, you gave it such pretty depth, like the idea of popping the biggest one up! Your second card is so sweet, love your idea of stamping it on the cardstock and then cutting with the acetate, gives it a neat look!
