Here are a couple of Mother’s Day cards.
I let two of my favorite coordinating designer papers bring some rich color to this first card. The sentiment is stamped right on to the pattern.
A single line of embossing at the top of the card adds a little fun. A rhinestone is placed on the sequin. I think it makes it look like a sparkly little flower.
On this card the leaves and flowers are stamped on colored cardstock. They have been colored with Copics and the flowers have been die cut.
I like the look of the lavender cardstock border on the die cut flowers. Usually I stamp on white card stock, so when the image is die cut it leaves a white border. However with these flowers, the border blends into the floral image. And again rhinestones are placed on the sequins. Just can’t help myself!
