It’s been so much cooler than usual here in Seattle. But according to a little birdie, summer will finally arrive today!
I applied the ink to the rubber stamp using horizontal strokes with a marker. Love the textured effect on the tree trunk.
The little bird was cut out using a circle die and then popping up the image on foam tape.
Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine, too.

Beautiful card Susan! I really love the textured feel of the tree trunk. I’m going to have to try that technique sometime. Would you mind though sending some of that cool air down here to California? Triple digits here. Ugh! 😉 Thanks for leaving some love on my blog.
very cute birdie, great idea to cut out with a circle, than try to do it that small, cute tree too!
Oh, what a sweet (tweet) card, Susan! Hehe! I just love the wee bird, and the tree is darling! Just love your design too. It’s funny that I’ve been going through some of my very old SU! sets and finding some treasures. Been unmounting the ones I really love. I even found Itty Bitty Backgrounds that I thought I might have given away. Hehe! Glad it’s finally warming up where you are. It’s been summer for long time here in South Florida! But we love it! Hugs and love, sweet Susan!
What a sweet welcome to summer with the little bluebird! Such a sweet and fun card.
This is a sweet little card. Thanks for joining the challenge at Love to Craft Challenge Blog.
