Jan 182021

One of the most challenging cards to make for me is the ever needed masculine card.  With 4 sons and many brother-in-laws and nephews and grandsons..  well you get the picture!  Here’s a quick and fun card to stock that stash.  It works for almost any age, too.

The chess pieces are popped up on foam tape onto the checkerboard background which in turn is popped up on the card base.  I love to give my card designs some depth.

With a black card base a necessary white panel for a note was added to the inside.  And why not pop up that panel, too?  Here the foam tape is on 3 sides to make a pocket..  you know just in case you want to add a little surprise for the nephew.

Happy Crafting!

    • Adding to my previous comment. I’m not sure that you had intended to join the Stencil Challenge at Happy Little Stampers as it’s not listed and I’m not seeing where you have stencilled. Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers ~ Stencil Challenge.
