The consensus may be that it is officially summertime in the Northern Hemisphere.

Well someone needs to tell Seattle! Still longing for the sunshine and daytime temperatures at least into the 70’s. It will happen… right? My card today is optimistic!

I have CASEd THIS lovely card by Julie Gilson.

The embossed white panel is popped up on foam tape as are the kites and sentiment. The kites were colored with Copics. Such a fun card to create. Thanks, Julie, for the inspiration.

  1. Rainy, my brother lives in Seattle and I’m in Florida. We discuss the weather all the time. I’d freeze to death out there. I hope y’all get some warmer weather soon.

Your card is adorable. I especially love the embossing and the kites remind me of running up and down waiting for the kites to soar up up and away. Thanks for joining us at The Four Seasons Challenge.

  4. Oh the patterns on the kites are too cute, like your twine with them.
I sure hope you can get some nice weather soon, I enjoy the 70’s, these high 80’s and 90’s makes it awfully hot to work outside in.
