It’s Dare to Get Dirty week over at Splitcoaststampers, and this year they have opened up all the challenges to everyone!! I decided not to host any challenges this year as I have one of my sons and his family visiting. But that doesn’t mean I won’t be playing along in some of the challenges!

After stamping and cutting out the beehive, I inked/distressed it around the edges. The negative cut piece was also distressed around the outside edge and the inside edge of the beehive negative. It was then stamped with the sentiments and a dotted background image. I used the honeycomb die as a stencil on the left and top of the piece as well. A honeycomb was also cut out, distressed and then adhered to the back of this piece with some of it peeking out. This was then popped up with dimensionals over the beehive which had been adhered to the yellow cardstock on the card base.

This was such a fun card to make, but in the end there may have been more ink on me than on the paper!
