Do you see the butterfly? It’s just a little thing that has landed right on the cake! It was punched from the same designer paper that acts as a floral backdrop for this yummy “baked” goodness.

Although the designer paper came with the flowers partially colored, I have added a little more color with some Copics to help a few of the flowers stand out even more. The pearl on the butterfly was also colored with a Copic marker. It started out as a white pearl, but didn’t really show up against everything else.. So a deep pink Copic came to the rescue.

As always I love to play along in some challenges:

Here is a card I made with a cute circular scene die that I have had for some time now. I’m already looking forward to Spring so even though the weather outside may not be saying “Spring” I can still have Spring on the inside!

The circle has been popped up on dimensionals. Love the depth this always adds to a design. The background panel has also been embossed which adds even more depth and interest. Love it!

The flower was made placing three different sizes of sequins together. The pearl was originally white but was colored with a Copic marker to match the ribbon and paper.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted.. almost a year! It’s been so long, in fact, that my old brain had to relearn how to do it!!

The card I’m sharing today was a quick and easy one to make and uses a really old Stampin’ Up stamp set. I haven’t bought many stamps in the last few years and have been trying to use or reuse the massive stash of stamps I already have.

The word “Happy” in the sentiment was colored in with Copics. A doily was cut in half and adhered behind the main image panel which is popped up on dimensional tape to add some depth and interest.

Even had a little fun with the envelope.

Playing along in some challenges, too!
