…all things can be pink if you want them to be!

I’ve finally gotten in some stamping time and couldn’t wait to play with my new SU! “Just Buzzin’ By” set…. SO-O-O-O FUN!!  The little bee images are just the cutest sweetest things!

blog139withwm.JPG

And that darling little hive stamp screamed, “Paper piece me.” right out loud!!  LOL   So I did.  I used SU!’s new Designer Series Paper “Raspberry Tart”.  I’ve already picked out the paper for the honey jug.  Hmmm… pink honey?!?  Well we’ll see.  *chuckle*

I’m still away from home but am having fun visiting with my sons and their families… no new granddaughter yet.

Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season.

smileysanta2ani.gif

I have seen a lot of these darling onesie cards.  I just had to make one for my little granddaughter that is to be born any day now.

blog137withwm.JPG

If you want to make one, too, Kay Kalthoff (Speedystamper) has a wonderful tutorial on her blog “Stamping to Share”.  Thank you, Kay!!

This will most likely be my last post for awhile.  I am jumping on a plane Wednesday morning and heading to my son’s home to help them move into their new home.  DH and teenage son will have to hold down the home front here and “bach'” it for awhile”.  *chuckle*

smileyairplaneani.gifMy DDIL is on bed rest and really must NOT help with any of the move.  So hopefully I can fill in there.  And who knows.. while I am there maybe little Kaitlyn Abigail will decide it is time to make her appearance into this world!  She will be my third granddaughter.  With four sons it just shows there can be justice in this world!  lol  With so much to do before I go and company coming the day after I get back, I simply will not have time to play and blog.  I will still choose a winner of my blog candy on Friday, but will not get it mailed out until after I am back home.  (If you haven’t checked out yesterday’s post, you might want to take a look.  I have a challenge and some blog candy!!)

Oh and don’t forget about Sharon’s blog celebration which continues through Friday of this week!!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

The party has gotten so big over at Sharon’s blog that today “Stamp Simply Celebrates” is spilling right over onto mine!!  With Christmas almost here and lots of mailing to do, I think that Gift Cards are one of the best ways to send a little love to family and friends.  Well every gift card needs a holder, and there is a template and a whole gallery for inspiration that uses that template over on Splitcoaststampers (SCS).  That’s because it was SCS’s Sketch Challenge #101.  So your challenge is to make a gift card holder.  Now if you have a different design that you like or want to try, no worries.  Go for it!

Have a great day!!  And hope you can stop by tomorrow for my challenge and BLOG CANDY!!

Today’s card fit both challenges in Sharon Johnson’s blog party “Stamp Simply Celebrates” Day 5.

blog135withwm.JPG

I used and old set called Cottage Roses.  And even though it is a retired set, it felt close to the same style as the roses in the designer paper.  I don’t have the inks in the in-colors, so I used Ruby Red and Old Olive.  They were a pretty close match to the Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss.  At least they didn’t seem to clash!

Here are the details for Sharon’s celebratioin for FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5:

Okay I confess… I tried to do a postcard.  I really wanted to play along in Darlene’s challenge.  But the no layers and no embellishments rule got the best of me.  I just couldn’t do it!  lol  But at least I did end up with another Christmas card.

smileygrinbigani.gif

Edited:  There have been a few that have asked me how I did the glittered corner/border.  I should have included that in the original post… It was late and I forgot to mention that that is all part of the Imaginations designer paper.  Using a black Copic multiliner and a glitter pen I did add the straight line across the top and along the right side to make a box around the deer and sentiment.

Have a happy day, and don’t forget to check out all the goings on with Sharon’s celebration.
