This week’s challenge over at Stampin’ Sisters in Christ is to make a {HEART} stand out in your card/project.

Being close to Valentine’s Day and also being in need of a card for a bridal shower, it was a perfect challenge for me to play along in.

With lots of die cut heart layers, this first card is the card entered into the challenge.

This second card is actually a CASE of CASE!  Loved this design so much that I decided to use it again this time for a bridal shower.

In a couple of weeks I will be having my 4-year blogiversary!!!!  There will be 4 new stamp sets looking for 4 new homes.

Thanks for dropping by today.  Happy Crafting!

My DBIL had a birthday this past week.  This is his card.

This DP is perfect for Paul who is one smart guy.  He retired a few years ago, after a successful career at the Hanford Nuclear Facility working with those little things called atoms.  Anyway, math is definitely up his alley!  Thought he would get a kick out of this paper.

Had fun drawing up a sketch that would show off this Basic Grey Oxford DP.

This circular metal frame was added for some texture and more dimension.

So, no matter how you do the math, hope you had a great day, Paul!

Love this Yours Truly designer paper from Echo Park.  It was another part of the wonderful crafty Christmas gift from my sisters, and I couldn’t wait to play with it.

Had a mix of the new and the very old-and-forgotten on this card.  The silver charm is something that I have had for years.  Spotted it sitting in a storage drawer and knew it would be the perfect accent.

Just returned last night from a 4-day weekend in Southern Arizona.  My newest little granddaughter was blessed, and so Grandpa and I decided we wanted to share in the happy day.  Little Brooklyn has grown so much since I last saw her in September!

Thanks for dropping by today.  Happy Crafting!

A couple of years ago I played around with making an embossing template with a stamped image.  Well, check this out!  No more fussy cutting for me.  This card was made with the Hero Arts Mixed Flowers Stamp and Embossing Folder Set.

Isn’t this fun!

And look at the results closeup.

The sketch was inspired by this Fall to Layout #47.

I couldn’t resist getting a couple of these stamp and embossing folder sets.  They sure make it easy.  Happy Crafting!

For Christmas my sisters gave me a gift card to Ellen Hutson’s store.  I used a large portion of the card for some gorgeous designer papers and have been doin’ the happy dance playing with them!!

This first card uses Lilybee Design Harvest Market Designer Paper.  Isn’t it wonderful!

The cute little hearts stamp and the sentiment are all part of Inkadinkado Heartful of Love set especially designed for Inchies.

Even remembered to add a little bit of fun on the inside of the card.

The second card is for Barbara a friend of mine who loves cats.  I used Lilybee Design This & That Designer Paper for this one.  The Martha Stewart Happy Birthday Punch is 50% off at Ellen’s!  In fact, Ellen has almost ALL of her MS Punches on sale at 50% off!!

Oh my gosh I love this image!  Colored it with my Copics.

Two cards in a row that I remembered to play on the inside of the card!

Yup… doin’ the happy dance!

Happy Crafting!

My little granddaughter, Kate, is turning 3 next week.  She loves to play outdoors.  But she is equally happy all dolled up for church on Christmas day.

I’ll be mailing this card out to her along with a fun crafty felt project for her to do.  She loves to craft.  Go figure!  lol

The card was inspired by this “Freshly Made Sketches” challenge which I forgot to upload before the deadline.  But I won’t forget to send it off to Kate this week.

Happy birthday, Sweetie, and… Happy Crafting!
