I thought this designer paper was a great match for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge.

So many of my favorite things come together on this card.. roses, pearls, embossing, fun punches and the oh so lovely pastels.

Sometimes you just have to indulge with all the frilly pretty stuff!

This card is for one of my sisters whose birthday is coming up this week.

After the white card base was stamped, the black and red trimmed “frame” was adhered to it with dimensionals.  This gives some interesting depth to the design.

The card fits into the three challenges.  Check them out:

Had some crafty time today.  After checking out some of the current challenges out there in blog land, I made this card.

It fits into 6 challenges.  This may be a record for me!  lol

My card today was made for a couple of very fun challenges.

The challenge at CAS-ual Fridays is to make a card using flowers and chevrons.  Over at the Case Study Challenge Blog their challenge is to be inspired by this design:

Love these graceful and sweet flowers from CAS-ual Fridays “Truth Is” set.  They are colored with Copics.  A fine tipped brown marker was used to draw a line around the edge of the flower/sentiment panel.

We are finally moved and settled at our cabin.  That means I will be able to find some time to play in more challenges again!  Yeah!!

Thanks for dropping by.  Happy Crafting!
