Here are a couple of Mother’s Day cards.

I let two of my favorite coordinating designer papers bring some rich color to this first card.  The sentiment is stamped right on to the pattern.

A single line of embossing at the top of the card adds a little fun.  A rhinestone is placed on the sequin.  I think it makes it look like a sparkly little flower.

On this card the leaves and flowers are stamped on colored cardstock.  They have been colored with Copics and the flowers have been die cut.

I like the look of the lavender cardstock border on the die cut flowers.  Usually I stamp on white card stock, so when the image is die cut it leaves a white border.  However with these flowers, the border blends into the floral image.  And again rhinestones are placed on the sequins.  Just can’t help myself!

For several months out of the year, I live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  The symbol of PV is the seahorse.  So when I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it!

All of the images were stamped and colored with Copics.  They have been cut and arranged into a fun beach scene.

So far PV has had very few cases of this virus that is traveling the world.  The governor of Jalisco (the state in which Puerto Vallarta is located) decided 2 weeks ago to have the state go on lockdown.. long before any cases were reported in the entire state.  Hoping now that that may have been a very wise (though at the time seemed drastic) decision.  Praying for the world.
