Here are the cards for my twin granddaughters’ birthday this year.
The icing on the cupcakes was popped up with foam tape for some depth and dimension.
A strip of the designer paper was added on the inside, too.
And of course their favorite part of the card… the money! lol
Since they live so far away its hard to know exactly what they want/need. But this year I had some cupcakes delivered to them that I ordered from a local bakery there. One can always use cupcakes!

The cards are so sweet, and oh my heck they’re all grown up!!! I love the idea of cupcakes delivered to them, to go with the cupcake cards! 🙂
Very pretty cards! Love the fun design and bright colors! The little addition of color on the inside is perfect. I hope your granddaughters had a wonderful birthday! Thanks so much for joining us at Seize the Birthday!
This is so pretty! Your coloring is great and I love the way you tucked the money under the ribbon. Will have to remember that!
What a great idea to do the cupcakes and cupcake cards! Look how the girls have grown! I remember when they were babies and I’ve seen their cards from Grandma grow with them. How fun!
Both cards are so beautiful. Love the cute cupcakes. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. 🙂
I love the idea for putting the money in the card. Great idea, lovely cards. TFS!
Oh, Susan, your twin granddaughters are adorable (and their sister too)! Such sweeties eating their cupcakes! I love the cards you made them, and what a great layout with the curve and the DP with the cupcake top popped! Super sentiment! Hehe! And I love the stitching too, along with the great gift inside!! Bet the girls loved that! Hugs!
Oh those precious little girls! I remember when they were all born, and just look how much they’ve grown up! What a fun picture of them enjoying their treats! Wonderful cards too, and I love the wavy panels. The sentiment reminds me of a popular song I’ve been hearing on the radio lately “Money can’t buy everything – but it can buy me a boat!” LOL Too funny!
Now how fun is this?!! Really love your slider idea here with the cupcake and the butterfly on top!! Such a fun photo too!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!!
Those are just too cute, love the design of the card too. Your idea of using the strip inside is a great one, I have a lot of those thin strips leftover, great way to use every bit of the paper, and like how you added the money on the ribbon.
It looks like they are totally enjoying those cupcakes, another great idea 🙂
These are totally darling! I LOVE the fabulous layout, sentiment, and beautiful coloring! Thank you for joining us at House of Cards! HUGS! 🙂 Mynn xx
