Father’s Day is just around the corner, so today I’m sharing a set of 3 cards made with Stampin’ Up’s “Happy Celebrations” stamp set with a coordinating embossing folder.
On this first card the letters were colored in after stamping the word “happy” but before embossing them.
On this second card the different colors were stamped on the letters after the letters were stamped and embossed.
The letters are embossed with a negative impression. This leaves only the outlined inner letters at the same level as the card base. So when ink is stamped over them only the outline is affected.
On the last card the green ink was applied inside the letters directly onto the embossing folder.
After embossing, black ink was gently added to the outlined inner letters.
Lovin’ this coordinating stamp and embossing folder!
Happy Father’s Day to all those great dads out there!
