Clean and Simple (CAS) always seems to work when it comes to a guy’s card. Here is one that I made for my oldest son’s birthday.
After masking and sponging the colored strip, the bike and sentiment were stamped. A ribbon was added, and the card was done.
If you haven’t seen my Sketch Challenge for July, be sure to check it out along with the brand new stamp set from Stampin’ Up that is being offered as some fun candy.
Happy Crafting!

Simplicity always works so well with masculine cards! I love this!!
Very nice! Sometimes masculine cards are so tough. You nailed it here.
Awesome card Susan! Love the sponging too.
great masculine card! Love the hint of green in with the blues!
Great CAS Sample – love the way you sponged the blue!
Oh, I like this with your sponging to ground and highlight the image. Beautiful CAS card!
Perfect, love the idea of masking an area to shade on like a path! The black ribbon is a great touch!
Gorgeous card, Susan! I always like CAS cards! Love the blue background!
The sponging makes a perfect touch! 🙂
Susan – Just Home! Love this card. You sure did a great job of shading without having the bike stamped first!
