  1. It is too bad that SU is taking such a hard line for their demonstrators. Thanks for the chance to win your candy.

  2. I agree about there being so many great “competitors” out there, and I think it’s a shame that the “big” companies (SU, CTMH) can’t play well with others. I think they’re missing one of the key reasons people blog and share ideas, and alienating potential demonstrators (and customers) in the process. Have fun in your new-found freedom, and thanks for a chance at some blog candy!

  3. SU doesn’t get it . . . the idea is to show how well your products work with other companies’ products!!! No one I know uses just one companies’ products.

SU products have great quality. They should not be so worried about competition. It’s out there where they like it or not.

Their decision could be a fatal error!

  4. SU was the company that got me into stamping, but they are not the only company out there. I like their products and the quality is great, but I use what ever moves me. To limit their demonstrators to their ‘brand’ in the long run is going to limit their creativity as they don’t sell everything. Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy. I love your blog.

  5. I understand that “variety can be the spice of life” I like stampin’ up but also use other companies. Glad you had the courage to stand by your own ideas.

  6. I love SU products but I use other things too. I think using a combination of products together would boost everyone’s sales. Thanks for offering up your old SU sets for a drawing.

  7. Oh, Susan. You too? I have had to make the same decision. As much as I love SU, yes, there are most definitely other beautiful stamps out there. Best of luck in your whatever new direction your creativity leads you.

  10. I made the same decision about Creative Memories many years ago. So sad. Hope you enjoy the new-found freedom! Perhaps these companies should watch Miracle on 34th Street?

  11. I would like the stamp set Simply Said – Set of 11 for $13.

  12. I am looking a stamp that was retired in 2004 it is called “Dream Catcher”. I don’t know how popular it was as I am new to Stampin’ Up. I am willing to pay a REASONABLE price….
